It feels lighter as there's many cm7 features that are missing. No cm7 settings is the big one but if you can live without a lot of features then you might like it.

Most everything I tested works. SMS, mms, signal bars, camera, maps, call volume is all good. Wifi is better. Speaker phone volume is still only loud enough at max. Ringtone and notification volume could be better. Prl (*228) update still says successful but must reboot manually. Auto brightness is still not bright enough.

It's been very stable for me so I'm sticking with it.... Til something better comes out.

How about screen rotation---I like cm7 but it drives me flipping nuts that screen won't rotate. I started a thread in rs but haven't had any posters yet

I'm getting a weird phone ringing sound when phone hit 100% charge. Now before Ringtone comes on it "rings " for split second then starts ringtone.

Paul, where is the market on this Rom? I just downloaded it and am good to go, but I can't find the Market to download TiBU and get all my apps.
    Thanks

Did you flash Gapps? You'll need to boot into recovery via the power menu and flash Gapps (after you've DL'd the ZIP file, of course). There's a link in the OP of the CM7 nightly thread.

Ran the rom for a couple of day's and gotta say I'm not that impressed. That new smell wore off pretty quick! Back to EF until cm7 is complete

I booted in via "power recovery" like you said and it brought up Orange CWM instead of red....is that ok or do we have a problem?

UPDATE: I guess it doesn't matter. Got Gapps downloaded and am reloading all my apps now. I like the simplicity of this rom. Only thing I don't like so far is the keyboard....the keys are a little small. (easy fix though!)

Yes the orange recovery is fine. Just about every developer is using a different color it seems like lol as long as its v 4.x.x.x you should be good

.....tapped out with my CM7 fassy
