    Skyrocket dropping calls and going into mute.

    Hi, I have been having several issues with my device dropping calls and sometimes even going into complete mute. It sometimes happens after receiving three succesfull calls. The only way to fix this issue is to restart the phone. I have made a hard reset several times and still have the same issue. Everything else works perfectly. Its a shame because I really love this phone. Can anyone please confirm if this issue has a fix? Thanks.

    I do not have the skyrocket...so I hesitate to comment *ahem*...but if you are stock then it is a warranty issue and you should have it replaced.

    I bought this item new on ebay. Does anyone know if At&t should replace this unit or do I have to return it to Samsung directly? Sorry for the nooby questions but I have used iphones for the past 4 years and when ever there has been an issue I would only take it to an apple store for an exchange. Thanks in advance for your support.

    If you did not get it through at&t then I am thinking it would be samsung you have to contact. They should have a CSR number on their sight for tech issues. Unless the person you got it from on ebay was a broker dealer for at&t. Did you have to take it to at&t to activate it or was it all set up by the seller?

    I just placed my at&t card and started using it. I dont think the seller was an att broker. Darn, hopefully Samsung is quick on the replacement of this unit because I dont have my iphone anymore.

    Skyrocket dropping calls and going into mute

    I am having the same problem where I am dropping calls or going into mute. I thought perhaps it had something to do with the way I was holding the phone, or touching something with my ear. I took it to the At&T store and they changed sim cards but that did not help. It seems like it is more likely to occur when I move the phone from one ear to another perhaps? Still very concerned as it is happening everyday.
